·  Are the courses offered at fixed dates or can be arranged according to our needs?

Courses are offered at fixed time/dates. However, we sometimes change the time/dates if we receive a request from ALL children/students in a class.

·  How can I make a payment?

Payments can be made by bank transfer, online 'PayPal' or direct debit.

We teach English and Maths from year 5 up to A 'levels'

·  How will my child communicate with the tutor during the online class?

Your child and the tutor will be communicating through Skype. A child/student simply needs to log in and start his/her online lesson.

·  Will my child have the same tutor for the duration of the course?

Aside from exceptional circumstances, we do our very best to make sure that you keep your original tutor for the entire course. Our tutors are, however, only human, and on rare occasions we may be forced to swap a tutor during a course due to sickness or a change in their personal situation.

Our courses take the form of:
One-to-one
Small classes, up to 4 students max per class

·  How will my child get Online Tuition?

You must first enrol your child at SsK Academy by completing the Tuition Form and then you will receive from SsK Academy’s admission office a timetable for the lessons.

·  How many lessons is my child required to have?

We recommend 2 lessons per weekend to help to improve the required academic skills.

·  How can I monitor my child's progress?

You will receive by email a short performance report on your child at the end of each lesson.

·  When do your lessons start?

We teach currently at weekends only between 10:00 and 20:00.

·  Does SsK Academy tuition work alongside what my child is learning at school?

Yes, SsK Academy teaches the British and Irish National Curriculum.

·  Are all your tutors located in the UK or Ireland?

All our teachers are based in the UK and Ireland. We believe that tutors should be familiar with the Irish and UK curriculum and can relate well to Irland and UK based children/students.

·  Can my child cancel a session?

Unfortunately, once a course (4 weeks) has started, no cancellation can be made and therefore no refund can be made.

·  What happens if SsK Academy cancels a session?

You will be informed if SsK Academy cancels a session and automatically be offered an alternative session for the cancelled one.

·  How long is an online tutoring session and how much does it cost?

60 minutes per session and the cost is £15.00 per child per online class (4 students per class).

·  How long is a course?

The duration of a course is 4 weeks and can be renewed for further 4 weeks and so on.

They are offered on few hours per day basis.
