Yes. Our teachers/trainers can go anywhere. We run courses for clients who have staff based in different countries. We can carry out the course at your premises subject to your provision of a room which meets the course and exam requirements and conditions. It is more cost-effective for us to send a trainer out to deliver the course than bring the delegates to the UK.

Yes, we do. We can offer tailor-made courses, workshops, seminars, or examination reviews to meet your specific needs online or at your locations.
Courses can be long or intensive. They can take days, weeks, or months.
They can be on full day basis or just few hours per day.
It depends on the number of applicants. If a group needs the course, it can be designed according to your needs. However, if the applicants are individuals, they need to join our scheduled classes.

Aside from exceptional circumstances, we do our very best to make sure that you keep your original trainer for the entire course. Our teachers are, however, only human, and on rare occasions we may be forced to swap a trainer during your course due to sickness or a change in their personal situation. In our experience, however, this is a rare occurrence.
Yes, all classes will be recorded. You will be able to access the recordings, together with all the study documents used in the class after each lesson through a secure link sent to you by your trainer.
These recordings are made so that you will be able to review your lessons outside of class time. This is especially useful if you are in a group class, and you cannot make it to the class that day.
Yes, we organise all materials for you, and they will be sent to you by e-mail.
You and your teacher will be communicating through our online system. You simply need to log in and go into your classroom.
Yes. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate stating the course attended and the number of hours.
You will receive the official PRINCE2 manual, a process model, and a CD containing additional reading materials. There is also a database of questions from previous papers to enable you to run mock exams for the Foundation and Practitioner. When you attend the course, you will be provided with a course manual and Practitioner Exam Assistant.
You will need to spend a minimum of 20 hours pre-study.
Study materials are usually dispatched on the same day as payment has been received and will be delivered the next working day. The study kit is sent by TNT courier and will require a signature when the package is delivered.
The Practitioner Exam is sent to the APMG for independent marking. It usually takes 4 weeks for the exam results to come back to SsK Academy. As soon as they have been received, we email the results to each candidate. If you change your email address, please provide us with the new one.
The APMG run an online register to show candidates that have passed Foundation and/or Practitioner. This can be found at www.prince2.org.uk
As an employer you can also check the validity of peoples PRINCE2 certification prior to contract or employment.
If you pass both examinations in the same week, you will receive a Practitioner Certificate but not a Foundation Certificate. You cannot sit the Practitioner exam without first having passed the Foundation. It is not necessary to send a separate Foundation Certificate.
The certificate is usually received within 4 weeks after we get the exam results. We will post it to you when we have verified your current address.
If you wish to take the exam only, there are open exam centres in Milton Keynes, York and Chester. These Exams run only on certain days and places are pretty much booked in advance. Sometimes there is a 4-6 weeks waiting list.
If you are based outside the UK and wish to complete a PRINCE2 exam, it is usually possible to sit them in a British Council office.
As of December 2000, the PRINCE2 Examinations at Practitioner level gave candidates a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner status. You will need to take the Re-registration Examination between 3 and 5 years after the date shown on your original certificate in order to maintain your status as a Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner. If you do not take the Re-registration exam within this timeframe then you will lose your 'registered' status. Please note that you are not required to sit the Practitioner examination again. You can still sit the Re-registration exam.
This PRINCE2 re-registration exam comprises of an exam paper set at the same standard as the Practitioner examination and is based on the 2005 PRINCE2 Manual. In order to prepare for the exam, it is important that you are up to date with the current version of the PRINCE2 Manual - Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 2005, second impression.
As of January 2008, the PRINCE2 Re-Registration examination is available in Objective Testing Format (OTE) and Essay based format. Please note that if you want to take the OTE format online you will need to contact servicedesk@apmg-uk.com for them to create an account for you. The essay based exam can be registered for online. The essay based format will be phased out in 2009.

Computers are not used on the course. However, you will need access to a computer to carry out your pre-study work. If you are staying in a hotel whilst attending the course, we recommend you bring a laptop to enable you to carry out your revision.
Yes you are provided with your pass mark for both the Foundation and Practitioner exams.
You must arrive in good time - at least 30 minutes before the start time. No late arrivals will be allowed into the exam room. All candidates are responsible for arriving at the exam on time. A further exam fee will be payable for a new exam booking if you are late.
It is a requirement of the examining body that prior to sitting for examinations on your course, you provide proof of identity. You are, therefore, requested to come to the course with photo ID in the form of passport, driving licence, student card, etc so that it can be validated prior to examination registration. Unfortunately, failure to provide appropriate identification will mean exclusion from examinations.
There is no specific dress code when attending a course.
You can register online with the ACCA. You will need to register with the ACCA before your exams for each sitting. Please see the ACCA website for dates and details
You need to contact the ACCA directly with regards to exemptions. SsK Academy cannot contact the ACCA on your behalf. Please see the ACCA website for details regarding exemptions.
Students must choose 2 of 4 Options papers. Options papers should be chosen based on interest and career plans, although students wishing to obtain a practising certificate in the UK must take P7 Options Module.
You must sit the modules in the following order: Knowledge, Skills, Essentials and Options. You may take up to four exams in any sitting as long as the modules are attempted in order.
Approximately 3 to 4 years. These figures depend on initial exemptions and the number of subjects taken per exam sitting.
You must book your paper-based exams through the ACCA directly. SsK Academy has no control over exam bookings or deadlines.
If you took an exam in June, your results will be released at the end of August. For exams in December, results are usually released at the end of February.

By becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and earning Microsoft Certifications, you keep your skills relevant, applicable, and competitive.
You will find:
New members of the community are welcomed with a Microsoft Certification ID (or MCP ID) – the key to all of the benefits on the MCP member site. The Certificate Manager tool on the MCP member site allows you to create, download, print, and store your customized Certificate of Achievement as soon as your new certification appears on your transcript. The most up-to-date versions of the program agreement and contact sheet are also available online. To accommodate customer preferences and an environmentally conscious world, we no longer mail out welcome kits.
Charter Members are the pioneering group of individuals who achieve a certification shortly after the certification becomes available. When a Charter Member certification is offered, it is available to candidates who achieve the new certification within six months after the certification exam is released. Charter Members are recognized by receiving the Charter version of the certificate.

Microsoft Certification exams are available in a variety of languages. Inquire with your exam provider about available languages for specific exams. If an exam is not available in your native language and you must take it in English, you can request an additional 30 minutes to complete it. You must make this arrangement before appearing at the testing centre. Please explain your needs to your exam provider when you register for the exam

At the heart of the Microsoft Certified Professional program are carefully developed, computer-administered exams that measure your ability to perform a specific job function or set of tasks in the real world.
Microsoft Learning continually introduces innovative testing technologies to measure candidate skills. The testing technology and questions change periodically, and the exam format is not identified when you register. Both practices help protect exam security and the value of Microsoft Certification. To prepare for the exam, refer to the "Skills Measured" section in the exam preparation guide.
During exam development, we ensure its validity by tying every step of exam development to the critical skills (also known as "objectives") identified by experts early on. Item writers provide rationales that describe how each question aligns with the intended objective, and this information is verified by a different set of subject-matter experts during the technical review that occurs before the exam is published. We measure the exam's psychometric performance at least annually, customer satisfaction results quarterly, and other exam issues on an ongoing basis to ensure that the exam continues to be a valid measure of skill domain. We remove poorly performing content and create new content as needed.

In general, most of our General English classes consist of 32 hours tuition per level.
Yes, SsK Academy provides students with certificates indicating the hours studied and the level attained.
Yes, we have a technical helpline that can guide you through the process.
We recommend the use of headsets for better sound quality, and to keep your hands free to type and interact with the virtual classroom.
It is not vital. If you have a webcam your tutor will be able to see you during the lesson and this can be helpful. However, regardless of whether you use a webcam or not, you will be able to see your teacher on screen as all our teachers have webcams.
If you miss a lesson, that lesson will be deemed to have been given.
Lessons will finish at the scheduled time even if a student arrives late. The lost time will be deemed to have been used.
Students will be provided with lesson time to make up that lost for no extra charge.
We delete all lesson recordings from our systems within seven days of your course ending.
Yes, as our initial objective is to meet your requirements with one teacher.
We regularly replay lesson recordings of each teacher, looking at their technique and approach. We provide them with feedback on how to improve. In addition, in your personal space on the SsK Academy Intranet, you are invited to provide feedback on your teacher on a regular basis. We monitor this feedback very carefully and discuss issues with the teacher as necessary.
SsK Academy will offer the text books to the students. However, the cost of the course books will be added to the tuition fees of the course.
Lesson recordings become available the following day after the lesson has ended.

Each student is different when it comes to learning English. Your progression really depends on your length of study and, most importantly, your commitment. All of our teachers are ready to give you all the advice, encouragement and assistance you need to develop your English skills as thoroughly as possible.
The online application form asks you to give your level of English. This is just so we have an idea and does not have to be exactly correct. When you enrol, you will take a placement test so we can decide which level you are and place you in the right class.

The IELTS course is very demanding and students find it very difficult. You must be minimum high Upper Intermediate level to take this course. If your English level is lower, it is better for you to study General English and Grammar until your level is high enough to benefit from the IELTS course.
All over the world! Every major continent is represented at SsK Academy. We could upon request organise classes for the same students’ gender, country or company.
We always try our best to make sure we can fit you onto our course. We will place you on our waiting list and open the class as soon as we have the minimum number required to open a class. We can also offer private lessons for any students who have special learning requests.
If you need to postpone your start date, you must inform SsK Academy in writing at least 14 days in advance. If you do not, the enrolment fee of £10 will be charged. If you postpone your course more than once, a further fee of £40 will be charged. This is to pay for all the administration costs that occur when postponing a course.
Yes, fees have to be paid in full and in advance two weeks prior the start of the course.
Cancellations must be made in writing to SsK Academy. If notice of cancellation is received more than 14 days before the start of the programme, full refund of the tuition fees will be made to the student (we will deduct £15.00 admin cost and if fees were paid to SsK Academy directly £15.00 bank charges). If notice of cancellation is re¬ceived 14 days or less before the start of the programme, the deposit will be forfeited. If notice of cancellation is re¬ceived after the start of the programme, full fees will be forfeited, but an alternative to attend other course by SsK Academy will be offered to the student.

You can tutor from as little as five hours to as much as 15 hours a week.

Please Note: You must have graduated from a accredited College or University. We cannot accept transcripts of teachers who have not yet earned a degree and are not currently enrolled.
As a tutor, it is your responsibility to: - Provide quality online tutoring to all students - Be familiar with all policies and procedures and adhere to them - Read and respond to all mentor assessments and communication - Check e-mail often for any messages from SsK Academy - Prepare for your lessons and mark homework.

Online tutoring with SsK Academy is a service where students sign in for a private, one-to-one, live tutoring session in our online classroom whenever they need help.

The standard commission rates for SsK Academy courses are outlined on your Agency Agreement.
All invoices must include student full name, student number, date of birth; and should also include the course level, start date, and tuition fee used to calculate commission. Any errors made when calculating commission rates and amounts will be amended at the time of processing, and you will be advised of any amendments made.
Commission is only payable once a student has commenced a course of study. If a student has not enrolled, or has withdrawn from study before the census date, commission will not be payable and you will be advised. Often, students defer their studies, and you may be advised to re-submit an invoice for a later session.

Yes, SsK Academy provides private online one-on-one tutorials where the student feels relaxed and can ask any questions. Tuition in pairs is also available and this can be particularly effective for students who like to learn by discussion as the students study the same material so they can bounce ideas off each other. Paired tuition also comes at a reduced cost.
Tutorials are usually one hour long, as this allows sufficient time to cover a reasonable amount of material while the student remains focused. However, sometimes one hour is not enough time to answer all the student's questions and a 90 minute lesson may be required. This will be especially true if more than one subject is being tutored at a time.
Usually students choose to have regular weekly lessons. SsK Academy recommends this as it helps the student to stay on top of their particular curriculum and not get behind.
Yes, lessons are also available in the school holidays. SsK Academy highly recommends that students use the holidays to catch up on all the work that needs completing and revising.
Absolutely not, you pay only the hourly rate for the tutoring services you receive.
You will pay SsK Academy Ltd in advance of receiving tutoring services. You may use whatever payment method is most convenient for you. * Please allow 7 working days to clear your cheque
All SsK Academy tutors are certified teachers. All are required to demonstrate a proficiency in the subject(s) that they will be tutoring.
Yes, if at any time you find that the tuition/tutor is not suitable for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact us so that other arrangements can be made. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your tutor, we will substitute that teacher for one who better meets your requirements.

Tutors to teach children are required to complete a three-stage application process which involves completing our standardised application form, be short-listed based on our rigorous agency criteria and undergo a face-to-face interview. Police records are checked and all tutors are screened and registered with the Department of Education's nation wide police checking system, 'working with students'.

One-to-One Online Tuition is a chance for anyone to learn any subject, at any location. Effectively, it is private tuition through the use of your own PC enabling the student to see, hear and interact with a real tutor in real time.
You must first register with SsK Academy by completing the Online Tuition Registration Form. Someone from SsK Academy will then contact you to discuss your requirements in detail; thereafter a tutor will conduct an assessment of your child’s needs and then draw up a study plan tailor made to his/her needs. SsK Academy will e-mail you to arrange a lesson, set the tuition fee and find out a convenient time that you are available for tuition.
Let us know what went wrong and we'll find him/her a replacement tutor.
All payment (by bank transfer, cheque or online) should be made to SsK Academy only and you do not need to pay the tutor anything.
Our tutors are qualified teachers, university graduates with relevant degrees or university students undertaking study in related disciplines.
